Two men have reportedly been arrested after a hostage drama in the United States that, it is feared, has left at least 13 people dead.
A third man is apparently still being sought by police following the shooting rampage at a building providing services to immigrants in New York State. Around 40 people were taken hostage at the American Civic Association in the town of Binghamton. After early indications that four had been killed, US media is now reporting 13 deaths. At least 26 hostages are said to have been injured. Some are in a critical condition. One source earlier described a shooter, possibly armed with a high-powered rifle, as a man of Asian appearance in his 20s. Two Asian men, believed to be suspects, were reportedly taken from the scene in plastic hand restraints.
