Airbus says it is still planning to complete and deliver 18 of its A380 superjumbos this year.The European planemaker was responding to a report that airlines do not believe it can deliver more than fifteen. That would mean a serious shortfall in revenue of at least 730 million euros for Airbus’ parent company EADS. That target of 18 planes was recently reduced from 21. Deliveries have been delayed due to wiring problems.
