Krajisnik fails in appeal bid

United Nations appeal judges have overturned two convictions for murder and extermination for former Bosnian Serb leader Momcilo Krajisnik, but have rejected his appeal for release. His sentence was cut from 27 to 20 years, but information provided by his former boss Radovan Karadzic, also on trial in the Hague, failed to clear his name. His original trial three years ago found him not guilty of genocide.
