Saab has announced 750 job cuts as it tries to stay afloat: 650 production line workers are to be laid off along with 100 office employees.

It also said a group of Sweden-based investors was interested in buying it from parent company General Motors. Saab was given bankruptcy protection from its creditors last month to give it time to restructure and tries to find a buyer. GM has said it will shed loss-making Saab at the latest by 2010.More about:
