Seven hurt in grenade attack in Kiev

Authorities in Ukraine have launched a manhunt after a grenade attack on Kiev’s main railway station.

At least seven people were injured when the device was thrown from a car and into the station’s infirmary, several hundred metres away from the passenger terminal.
It is thought one of the victim’s who was seriously hurt could lose an eye. But the outcome could have been much worse. One person managed to pick up the grenade and throw it out of a window.
The subsequent explosion only damaged a few cars and shattered lots of glass.
