Attacks by Hamas militants show no sign of slowing.

Two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip this morning struck the central Negev city of Be’er Sheva – one of which directly hit a car, leaving two people suffering from shock. The rockets hit the southern city just as high school students were instructed to return to class, nearly two weeks after schools were shutdown because of the continuing cross-border attacks. Israel had already widened its buffer zone around Gaza to a radius of 40 kilometres after earlier attacks on Beersheba now military authorities are thought to be considering stretching it further.
