The ongoing row between Libya and Switzerland appears to have re-surfaced after Swiss Airlines announced it is to lose its last remaining flight to Tripoli. The airline says it received a letter from Libyan authorities stating its flights had been cancelled for technical reasons. It is the latest twist in the diplomatic row between the two countries after the son of Libyan leader Colonel Gadaffi was arrested in Geneva earlier this summer. He was accused of assaulting two of his staff. The charges were eventually dropped, but the incident caused outrage in Libya. The dispute worsened when Libyan refiner Tamoil was told to suspend deliveries to Switzerland, threatening fuel shortages.
