European plane-maker Airbus says it needs a capital increase of more than two billion euros for its national units. That should be achievable by simplifying the company’s legal structure. Airbus France will be merged with the existing holding company within the group, Airbus Holding. Airbus’ parent company EADS, whose shares have declined by 43 percent this year, says the move is unlikely to affect its capital requirements.
