There is just a day to go before polls open in the United States to elect a new president. In the final 24 hours of the campaign, both candidates are on a marathon tour of the crucial battleground states which will determine who wins.
In Ohio, rock legend Bruce Springsteen warmed up the crowd, introducing Democrat Barack Obama. The Illinois Senator maintains a considerable lead over his Republican rival in opinion polls.
“That is how we will change this country – because of you,” said Obama. “And that is why we can’t afford in these last two days to slow down or sit back or let up one minute, one hour, one second. Not now, not when there is so much at stake. We have got to go out there and win this election.”
