McCain pleads for help to win

Republican John McCain launched his last full day of campaigning in Tampa, Florida, pleading with voters that he needs their help to win.

The financial crisis came back to the fore in his last-ditch battle cry. He said: “We are not going to spend 750 billion dollars of your money just bailing out the Wall St bankers and brokers who got us into this mess. Senator Obama will. I am going to make sure we take care of the working people who are devastated by the excesses of Wall St and Washington.”

McCain told the crowds he was confident the pollsters have got it wrong, and that he is the man who will be moving into the White House.
