A car, believed to have been driven by a Palestinian man, has ploughed into a group of Israeli soldiers at a busy intersection in Jerusalem.
Fifteen soldiers were hurt along with four other people. The driver of the BMW involved was shot dead.
Two of the injured people are said to be in critical condition.
The soldiers belonged to an artillery corps and were on a visit to the Wailing Wall.
The attackers car was registered to a resident of Yabul Mukaber, an Arab town in east Jerusalem.
It is the third such attack in Jerusalem in three months.
In two separate incidents in July, construction vehicles were driven at Israelis killing a total of three people and injuring 10 more.
