Seven people were hurt early this morning in a booby-trapped car bomb in Spain’s Basque country.
The device exploded in front of a police station in the town of Ondarroa; it followed an earlier attack overnight in the region, at Salburua, both of which are being blamed on the armed Basque separatist movement, ETA. No-one was hurt in the Salburua incident, but the wounded in Ondarroa include three police officers and four passers-by.
Police say there were no warnings given.
