At least six people have been killed and approximately 40 injured in a car bomb explosion
in Pakistan. The blast, which took place while legislators were voting in presidential elections, occurred in the north-western city of Peshawar. A senior police official said the vehicle exploded near a police post which was totally destroyed. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
