A double car bombing has brought fresh bloodshed to Algeria, just a day after an attack killed 43 people in the country. At least 11 lives have been lost in today’s explosions outside a hotel and a military building at Bouira, 120 kilometres southeast of Algiers.
The target on Tuesday was a paramilitary police training facility, east of the capital. It was one of the bloodiest incidents in Algeria for years. There has been no claim of responsibility for the bombings but they follow a spate of attacks by al Qaeda’s wing in North Africa.
