There has been a deadly bomb blast at a hospital in Pakistan’s volatile northwest.
Police in the town of Dera Ismail Khan said 23 people died in what was believed to be a sectarian suicide bombing at the hospital. Another 20 were injured.
Many of the victims were supporters of a local Shi’ite Muslim leader who had been shot dead on Tuesday morning and whose body had been taken to the hospital.
