Lufthansa CityLine pilots strike again


Lufthansa had to cancel almost a fifth of its flights on Thursday as pilots at its CityLine regional carrier walked out again, disrupting travel for thousands of passengers. The 36-hour strike is the latest in a series of stoppages in the past few weeks to underline the pilots demands in a wage dispute that has lasted for several months. Pilots at Lufthansa’s Eurowings regional unit had joined CityLine in previous strikes, but Lufthansa said it is now close to a deal with Eurowings.
