New pictures have emerged of Bosnian war crimes’ suspect Radovan Karadzic in disguise, while hiding from UN war crimes investigators.
The former Bosnian Serb leader, accused of genocide during the 1990s Bosnian war, is seen at a garden party in a town near Belgrade on 22nd of June this year.
Calling himself Dragan Dabic, the name he had adopted during his eleven years in hiding, he greeted the host at a clinic which was celebrating “Fertility Day.”
Karadzic changed his appearance while on the run, and lived as a practitioner of alternative medicine.
Karadzic is now being held at a prison in Belgrade, fighting extradition to the War Crimes Tribunal in the Hague.
He has been indicted for the massacre of thousands fo Muslims at Srebrenica and the three and a half year siege of Sarajevo.
