Two Spanish pilots and two German officers with the EU peacekeeping mission in Bosnia have been killed in a helicopter crash. The aircraft came down in a wooded, mountainous area north of the town of Travnik. It is not known what caused the crash, but all four people on board have been confirmed dead. Spain is the biggest contributor to the 2,000-strong EU force, which took over peace-keeping in Bosnia from NATO in 2005.
