Dozen dead in India bomb attack

At least 60 people are reported to have died in the Indian city of Jaipur after a series of bomb blasts.

More than 100 were injured.

The explosions happened within Jaipur’s crowded Walled City, an area popular with tourists. One was beside a Hindu temple.

Known as the Pink City, Jaipur is the capital of the north western state of Rajasthan and is home to over 2.7 million people.

Police say the explosions were the work of terrorists and alerts have been issued in New Delhi and Mumbai.
