Plunge into the darkness of a limestone quarry in Provence and you find yourself immersed in images, swimming in a visual sea of colour and light. The Cathedral d’Images is a gallery where paintings are projected onto rocky walls up to 20 metres high. It has been running for 30 years, but has just been given a makeover.
