A team of Spanish archaeologists have discovered a well-preserved burial chamber in Egypt, which may contain the mummy of an ancient and respected warrior. The tomb was uncovered in Dra Abul Naga on Luxor’s west bank. The team came across the surprise find during routine excavations. When the burial shaft was opened, experts found a wooden coffin inscribed with the word “Iker”, which in ancient Egyptian means “excellent one.”
