Clinton takes Nevada Obama a close second

Democrat Hillary Clinton won the Nevada caucus in what turned out to be a close fight with her nearest challenger Barak Obama. The result will no doubt give the New York senator’s campaign momentum as the nomination battle hots up. Clinton in her victory speech took the opportunity to talk about US involvement in Iraq.

“ I guess this is how the west was won. I know from all the people who came up to me and grabbed my hand and whispered in my ear and said please; my son is in Iraq, my husband is in Iraq, bring them home, and I will.”

The Democrat candidates now turn their attention to next Saturday’s primary in South Carolina.
