Kidnappers of five Britons held in Iraq say they will kill one of their captives unless UK troops pull out.

A video aired on an Arabic TV station features one of the hostages, who were seized in May, and sets a 10-day deadline.

In a statement, the militants said he would be killed as a “first warning”.

The five men – a computer expert and four guards – were abducted by a group disguised in police uniforms.

In London, the Foreign Office condemned the hostage-taking and urged the kidnappers to release the Britons unconditionally.
