Diana inquest visits Paris

Visiting the scene of Princess Diana’s last moments. The British jury hearing the inquest into her death 10 years ago has arrived in Paris to see for itself the scene of the crash that killed her.

The court is retracing the last movements of Diana and her lover Dodi al-Fayed, from the Ritz Hotel to the crash in the Alma tunnel.

At last week’s opening of the inquest, presided over by the Coroner Lord Justice, the jury was shown security camera pictures of the couple.

Dodi’s father claims they were engaged, Diana was pregnant and that they were killed by the British secret services.

That has been denied by the authorities, and French and British police investigations found it was a tragic accident caused by a speeding chauffeur who had been drinking.
