Scouts worldwide celebrate 100 years

Chief UK Scout Peter Duncan blew a Kudu horn exactly 100 years after the first Scouts movement was created in England.
There are now 28 million scouts around the world. 40,000 of them have gathered in the UK for the largest ever 12-day world scout jamboree. Boys and girls joining the movement promise to uphold scout values such as being trustworthy and doing their best. Thousands of them have come to England to honour their founder Baden-Powell and show their loyalty to the scout movement.
