Taliban kidnappers say they have shot dead a second South Korean hostage in Afghanistan. It follows the expiry of two separate deadlines set by the militants today. Earlier reports suggested talks had resumed to try to free the 22 captives. But the rebels now say another male hostage has been killed, accusing the Afghan government of failing to listen to their demands. The Taliban had already shot dead the leader of the group of South Korean Christians.
