Brussels wants to keep us talking, so it is making more frequencies available for the new three G telephone operators. 900 to 1800 megahertz spectrum used in GSM telephone services, and experts say sharing the space could make savings of 40 percent possible on network investments over the next five years. It should encourage new mobile operators to enter the market, and allow new wireless services to be offered. The new bandwidth should be available by the end of the year.
