Police in London say they arrested a man in connection with an alleged plot to murder the exiled Russian businessman Boris Berezovsky. A spokesman said the man was detained last month. Earlier, Berezovsky, who is a fierce critic of Russia’s President Putin told a press conference that he had fled the UK for a short time in June, after being warned by Scotland Yard that he was the target of an assassination attempt.
Police confirmed they made an arrest on June the 21st in connection with a plot to kill Berezovsky but released him two days later, handing him to immigration officials. Meanwhile the hunt for the killer of Alexander Litvinenko continues Dmitri Peskov a spokesperson for President Putin
