President George W Bush’s reaction to the shooting that has taken place at a United States university. His sentiments were echoed in Congress by speaker Nancy Pelosi.
“As the Virginia Tech community struggles, with the mourning and the questioning that is sure to follow,the continued prayers of this Congress are with the students, their families, the faculties and the staff at Virginia Tech.”
A minutes silence was then observed in Congress as America comes to terms with the worst campus shooting in the country’s history.
