Football legend Diego Maradona is at the centre of another health scare after being admitted to hospital in Buenos Aires. A spokesman at the hospital said he was undergoing tests but that they were not related to drug addiction problems. Maradona, who led Argentina to the 1986 World Cup title, has battled cocaine addiction in the past.
In recent days his doctor said Maradona had put on weight and was planning a trip to Switzerland to get himself back into shape. In 2000, Maradona suffered severe heart problems. They recurred four years later by which time he had become extremely overweight.
