As President Bush moves on, so too does President Chavez. He has arrived in Bolivia, from Argentina, making sure he stays close enough to the American President for his strident criticism to be heard. He blames US free market policies for increasing poverty in Latin America, and while Bush has been stressing the amount of aid he sends south of the border, Mr Chavez is equally keen to make it clear exactly how much money oil-rich Venezuela gives to its less well off neighbours. When Bush leaves Colombia for Guatemala later today Chavez will go too. He has organised a visit to President Daniel Ortega in neighbouring Nicaragua.
