Further sanctions have been imposed against Iran over its nuclear programme.
Members of the International Atomic Energy Agency have approved the suspension of nearly two dozen nuclear technical aid programmes.
The action was recommended by the Director General of the IAEA Mohammed ElBaradei.
The decision was backed by most board member nations, including those normally supportive of Iran.
The techinal aid suspensions are part of a raft of UN sanctions imposed in December over Iran’s refusal to stop uranium enrichment.
Iran has slammed the action as illegal, maintaining it only wants to develop atomic energy for civilian purposes.
