Second suspect arrested in prostitute murder hunt

A 48-year old man who frequented the red-light district in the English town of Ipswich has been arrested on suspicion of murdering five prostitutes.
He is the second person arrested in the case so far.

Little is known about the suspect but police have been meticulously searching his home which is not far from where the bodies were found. His car has also been taken away for forensic examination.

Police have warned sex-workers to stay off the streets. Lou, a local prostitute, said she knew the suspect. “I could have slept with the serial killer. I have actually had business with this man. That has shocked me. I could have been in the house with the man who did this.”

Searches are still underway at the house of Tom Stephens, the first suspect arrested. Police have now been given extra time to question him. The 37-year old has said he knew all the murdered women but denies any involvement in their deaths.
