Europeans reminded about job mobility

Job mobility events have been taking place simultaneously in more than 250 European cities, with people queueing up to visit.
Job opportunities are presented through the European Commission’s EURES internet portal. This reminds citizens they can live and work in another EU country. The European Mobility Bus is on a tour of nine European cities.

EURES has a network of 750 advisors in different EU regions and cities. Only two percent of EU citizens live and work in an EU country outside their country of origin. Between two and three million jobs remain unfilled in Europe because of the lack of a genuine mobility culture.
