The UN Secretary General Kofi Annan has been continuing his tour of capitals making sure the international peacekeeping force is ready and knows what to do in Lebanon. His latest stopover Madrid. The Spanish Prime Minister has agreed to send 1100 soldiers there. The UN chief said now Israel has partially lifted its blockade of Lebanon, its leaders could turn their attention to rebuilding the country. This evening the Spanish parliament votes on whether to send troops to Lebanon, the government is expected to gets it way.
