Israeli aircraft have knocked out mobile phone and TV masts in Lebanon. Air raids struck a relay station used by several Lebanese TV channels and a mast of the Alfa mobile telephone network in Christian areas, north of Beirut. The bombing started a fire at facilities used by leading private network LBC television. At least one employee is reported dead. Another was injured. Two French nationals are also said to have been hurt as they sheltered in a church beside the television tower when the attack took place.
