Dozens of Israeli military aircraft dropped 23 tonnes of explosives on what army sources claimed was a bunker. It was thought to be used by senior members of the militant group, including Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah. But there are no reports of casualties. Since then heavy fighting has been reported between Israeli soldiers and Hezbollah guerrillas in two sectors of the Lebanese border. It’s said to be taking place near to where two Israeli troops were killed in operations on Wednesday.
