Hezbollah rocket kills person in Nahariya

world news

A fresh Hezbollah rocket attack has killed one person in northern Israel and injured at least 14 others. The barrage struck the town of Nahariya, which has been a prime target since the conflict began. Hezbollah salvos have now killed 13 Israelis. More than 120 rockets reportedly fell on northern parts of the country on Tuesday. Casualty reports came in from Haifa, Kiryat Shmona, Safed and other cities.

Tensions are high in Haifa, Israel’s third largest city, where eight people were killed on Sunday when a rocket hit a train station. In Safed people were treated for shock as missiles again rained down on the town. Tiberias and Karmiel were also targeted. The crisis has forced hundreds of thousands of Israelis to take cover in underground shelters.
