Rocket lands next to Israeli hospital

A rocket fired by Hezbollah militants in Lebanon has landed next to a hospital in the northern Israeli town of Safed. At least six people were injured in the attack. The Israeli army said the rocket sent shrapnel into buildings around the hospital, including a synagogue. The strike came as a barrage of around two dozen rockets fired from Lebanon struck centres across the north, including Israel’s third-largest city, Haifa.
