New recruit in battle to catch rampaging bear

If you want to catch a bear, and real honey fails, there is always another sort of honey-trap you can turn to. Nora is a 13-year-old female whose obvious charms are to be employed to catch a runaway male who is currently on the rampage in the German-Austrian Alps.

The male in question is Bruno. He was initially introduced into the wilds of Northern Italy, but has since wandered north into Germany and Austria and was last seen near the town of Kochel. This would not be a big issue, but Bruno is persistently outwitting his pursuers and gaining in confidence. He has already scared a group of children approaching them when they were playing football. He has also fed well during his alpine hike – killing at least 25 sheep, one hare and a guinea-pig. Authorities hope that Nora will prove irresistible and will reel Bruno in. If captured Bruno is to be released into a nature reserve near Munich or returned to Italy.
