Deadly explosions rock Egypt resort

Scores of people are reported to have been killed or wounded in three explosions that have struck the Egyptian resort town of Dahab.

Police say the blasts happened in different parts of the town which is popular with tourists. Some media reports say at least 17 people have died at one hotel alone. Dozens more are reported injured. Witnesses have decribed a lot of damage to buildings where the explosions happened. It is reported a spring holiday festival was taking place in Dahab at the time. People are currently taking a traditional five-day break.
