Supermarket roof collapse in Bavaria

The roof of a supermarket has collapsed in southern Germany. There were no injuries in the accident, which happened in the small Bavarian town of Toeging am Inn. It is not known why the roof fell in, although there have been heavy falls of snow in the area overnight.

Last month 15 people were killed when the roof of a Bavarian ice rink collapsed. A structural problem linked to a weak glue used to hold together layers of wood is being blamed for the disaster. In late January 67 people died in a similar roof collapse in Poland
