Amateur video has emerged of one of the blasts which hit the Indonesian holiday island of Bali yesterday. The video captures the full horror of the explosions which are now known to have killed 26 people and wounded well over a hundred. It’s believed a man seen walking through the restaurant just before the blast could be one of the attackers.Three bombs tore through restaurants packed with evening diners on Saturday in what appeared to be a coordinated attack. Indonesian investigators believe the blasts were the work of suicide bombers. The explosions came just shy of the third anniversary of similar attacks on the holiday island that killed more than 200 people. Al Qaeda linked Islamic militants were behind those bombings and they aresuspected of being responsible for yesterday’s blasts. Security analysts say the strikes bear the hallmarks of Jemaah Islamiyah, a network seen as the regional arm of al Qaeda. Local police blamed it for the 2002 bombings and a series of attacks against Western targets in Indonesia.
