Video reveals Bali horror

New video has emerged capturing the full horror of yesterday’s bomb attacks in Bali which killed up to 26 people. The footage was filmed by a tourist inside one of the restaurants target in the coordinated blasts. It showed a man with a small rucksack walking through the crowded room. Moments later, offer camera, there is a large explosion and people are heard screaming. The camera is then pointed to the ground as the tourist quickly flees the building.

The blasts tore through restaurants in Kuta and beach front bars at Jimbaran. At least 120 people were wounded and there are fears the toll could rise. The explosions came almost exactly three years after similar bomb attacks killed more that 200 people on the holiday island. Al Qaeda-linked Islamic militants were behind those attacks and they are suspected of being responsible for yesterday’s bombings. Security analysts say the strikes bear the hallmarks of Jemaah Islamiah, a network seen as the regional arm of al Qaeda.
