A suspected British militant has been arrested in the UK, after being extradited from Zambia. Haroon Rashid Aswat,30, will be questioned by British police but there is said to be no evidence linking him to the July 7 terror attacks.

However, US officials have accused him of conspiring to set up a militant training camp in Oregon. Meanwhile, several men were due in court over the failed July 21 attacks in London. They are Muktar Said Ibrahim, 27, who is suspected of the failed Hackney bus bombing, Yassin Hassan Omar, 24, alleged to have attempted to bomb a tube on the Victoria Line and Ramzi Mohammed, who is suspected of attempting to bomb a Tube near Oval. Another man, Manfo Kwaku Asiedu, 32, was also appearing – accused of planting an unexploded device found at Little Wormwood Scrubs Park in West London.
