Romanian journalists kidnapped in Iraq

Three Romanian journalists have been kidnapped in Iraq. Two are employees of the country’s Prima TV station, the third a reporter for the Romania Libera newspaper. They were on a brief trip to the country when they were abducted. Romania has more than 800 troops there alongside its US allies. It comes after President Traian Basescu made a whistle-stop tour of Iraq and Afghanistan.
