Police in London have arrested a man in connection with a series of knife attacks during this morning’s rush-hour. One person has died and five others are in a critical condition following several assaults in and around Edmonton, North London. Witnesses spoke of a man moving around in a red car, and stopping to stab people at random.After the first attack, outside Edmonton Green train station, there were four more incidents in the next hour as scores of police flooded the borough, and a citywide manhunt began. Police have called for witnesses, as they estimate “hundreds” of people must have seen the events. The arrested man is described as being about thirty years of age, and with a history of mental illness.
